We are very proud to announce the fourth album of the Mexican Heavy doom band Consolamentum, titled "Ophitas" that will be released on October 25th for #defoxrecords #invinciblerecords
The mastermind Martin Martinez aka @Martin Xipe Totec (Xipe Totec Oficial , Yatrogeny, Miquian) gives us a journey that challenges conventional rock, eleven songs that sound like a perfect mix of Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Cathedral, Altar Of Oblivion, with tribal, transcendental sounds and references to pre-Hispanic culture, a one of a kind band, extraordinary, fascinating, surprising!

Doom Stoner Metal based on ancient Gnostic heresies; and on this occasion, overtones of Luciferianism.
The mysterious sound that comes from the transverse flute; the organ, the bells and the ecclesiastical choirs in Latin can be fused with various voice styles.
